Hello my beautiful readers! I'm back from India! I just want to start off my apologizing that I missed 2 days of posts. I actually happen to get back home and get a fever and a cold. Besides trying to recover, I've been unpacking, cleaning, etc. I move in to my apartment at university in about 2 weeks so I've also started packing for that. Anyways, now that I'm back, and feeling significantly better I have so many things to share with you guys. I had so much fun in India and am missing it a lot. What better way to reminisce then to share my experiences with all of you!
For today's post I just want to briefly highlight some things that happen in India. If you want full posts about each experience I'd be more than happy to share as well as add pictures of the places I went and things I saw. I hope you enjoy!
1. Motorcycle Riding: Yes. Yes. If you know me, I adore motorcycles. Let me tell you, the feeling of being on a motorcycle is kind of indescribable because it's so perfect. My cousin who's a year older than me and who's in medical school received his motorcycle a few weeks before we came back to Delhi. Being the greatest cousin that he is, he took my sister and I to a lot of beautiful places around Delhi. Honestly just being on the motorcycle was enough because it is. However some things did happen that day unexpectedly. If you wanna know the full story let me know in the comments below. It's definitely interesting and funny.
2. Punjabi Wedding: Another fun fact about me, other than that I'm a hopeless romantic. I love Indian Weddings. If I could just go to weddings for the rest of my life, I wouldn't be mad about it. The whole dressing up, dancing, food, etc. Indian weddings are so intricate and full of life and it's exactly what I want my wedding to be like. This wedding function was pretty fun. There was good food, I danced with some really drunk people on the dance floor, and I may or may not have had my first alcoholic beverage ever. Again, if you want full details, let me know! I'd love to talk about it more in depth.
3. Hospital Rounds: My whole family more or less are doctors in India. I always found that interesting, but this time it was even better because I realized that that's the field I wish to go in as well. Obviously the structure of medicine and doctors is so different in India than America, but I love my culture and I wanted to experience that side of it. My aunt took me to her clinic and the hospital she works at quite a number of times and I loved every second of it. The visits made me excited and wanted me to expand my knowledge in this field as much as possible. I watched quite a few things in the hospital, and as I've mentioned before, more in depth posts are to come. There may or may not have been a boy involved.
I hope you guys enjoyed this post! I'll be back to posting on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, so stay tuned! I hope you guys have a lovely rest of your day.
Stay young, stay beautiful, and keep on keeping on.
